- Recognize the hardware elements of current Hitachi NAS Platform models
- Identify the functions in the Hitachi NAS Platform file system
- Describe the advanced networking of Hitachi NAS Platform
- Identify administrative processes of the Hitachi NAS Platform
- Select among data protection features
Kursinhalt
This three day instructor-led course provides a conceptual overview of the Hitachi
NAS Platform, powered by BlueArc®. This includes an introduction of the Hitachi
High-performance NAS Platform Models 3100 and 3200, and Hitachi NAS Platform
Models 3080 and 3090 architecture, configuration, management, clustering,
network environment, Enterprise Virtual Server, file system, authentication, file
sharing, and data protection.
Lab activities are included to provide hands on experience in discovering the
storage being used by the NAS Nodes and configure advance networking features
like link aggregation and VLANs. In addition, the learner will get an opportunity to
follow the process for creating an EVS and file system, join Active Directory
Services, create CIFS shares, and create NFS exports.
