1.2. You will receive written confirmation of registration from us with detailed information on the course / exam for which you have registered (venue, date, and time of events) no later than 14 days prior to the start of the course or exam.

1.3 We reserve the right to cancel the course or exam no later than 14 days prior to its start if the number of confirmed registrations is insufficient.

2. Fees

All fees are net fees, that is, they are subject to value-added tax. Our current list of fees is valid; upon publication of a new fee list, these new fees are valid. The tuition fees for courses or exams conducted at our facilities cover the use of training systems, beverages and/or lunch and student kits.

3. Cancellations

3.1. Cancellations must be submitted to us in hardcopy and/or electronic form.

3.2. We will not invoice cancellation charges if we receive notice of cancellation 14 days prior to the start of the course or exam. If we receive notice of cancellation up to 7 days prior to the start of the course or exam, a cancellation charge of 50% of the tuition fees is due. Thereafter we will invoice the full course or exam fee for all cancellations. You are free to name a replacement rather than cancel attendance altogether.

3.3. In the event that we cancel a course or exam because of force majeure or other unforeseeable circumstances (for example, in case of accident or illness of the instructor) the liability of Fast Lane Institute for Knowledge Transfer (Switzerland) AG is limited to the refunding of course or exam fees to participants who have arrived at the training location. The Company is not liable for any travel and lodging expenses.

3.4. All participants that have registered in a Red Hat training or exam class (apart from Red Hat Exam KIOSK/KOALA Sessions) are responsible for 100% of the fee unless cancellation is made by them 14 days prior to the course start date.

3.4.1. Important information regarding the purchase of a Redhat Bundle (e.g. RH135, RH-RH255, RH-RH300, etc.): The bundle price is only granted, if the course and the exam takes place in the same country. However, you have the right to not the complete course and the exam within the same week. Doing so you acknowledge, that you are aware of the risk, that single elements of the bundle could get cancelled, i.e. the exam or the course. If you cannot attend at any of the alternate dates in the same country, you are allowed – but only for an extra charge/fee – to attend at an alternate date in another country. In these cases the extra charges/fees are disclosed before the rebooking/rescheduling. All fees are net fees, that is, they are subject to value-added tax or any other applicable national taxes of the country in which the course is conducted. The fees are dependent on the course or exam, the country and the local currency.

3.4.2. Important information regarding the cancellation of Individual Red Hat Exam KIOSK/KOALA Sessions bookings http://www.flane.ch/en/article/30840:

Individual Exam Scheduling: Named Participants have one (1) year from date of purchase to schedule and take the exam. No extensions of the one-year term will be granted.

Country of Purchase: Unless otherwise approved by Red Hat in writing, all individual exams must be taken in the enrollee's country of residence at the time of purchase.
Expiration of Individual Exams: Named Participants have one (1) year from date of execution to schedule and take the exam. No extensions of the one-year term will be granted.
Late Arrivals and No-Show Policy: Failure to attend an exam or arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time of an exam will result in forfeiture of the exam session and fee, and the Named Participant will not be eligible to reschedule the exam.

3.5 The booking of a RedHat E-Learning or MOC On-Demand Core, Advanced or Prime Training (E-Learning) cannot be cancelled. Course fees are non-refundable. Once you have activated access to RedHat or MOC training materials by redeeming them with the code we receive, you will have access to RedHat or Microsoft Labs-online and the Microsoft Video On Demand course for exactly 90 days (RedHat) or 180 days (MOC). Once the 90 or 180 days have passed, you can no longer access it. However, you can still access the Microsoft MOC e-book at any time afterwards.

3.6. All participants that have registered for a F5 course are subject to the F5 Networks cancellation policies:

  • All participants that have registered in an F5 training class are responsible for 100% of the fee unless cancellation is made by them 14 days prior to the course start date.
  • There will be no refunds for delegates who fail to attend without prior cancellation as stipulated in Clause 1.1
  • F5 Networks reserves the right to cancel the course ten days prior to the start date if minimum subscription requirements are not met
