IT expert looks back on a successful year

Fast Lane closes the 2017 financial year with a record turnover

Hamburg/Berlin, 4th January 2018 – The Fast Lane Group reports a positive balance for the 2017 financial year. With a worldwide growth rate of 11 percent, Fast Lane recorded its highest ever turnover in the company’s history. Fast Lane increased its profits by 18 percent compared with the previous year.

The success is due in particular to the company's integrated digital and blended learning strategy, which was pursued at a very early stage, the expansion of the Professional Services offering on all topics of digital transformation and the international orientation.

In the forecast for the current financial year, Torsten Poels, CEO & Chairman of the Board of Fast Lane Group, again expects strong growth: "We will continue our solid growth strategy this year. Our focus for 2018 is on the further expansion of our Professional Services and training offerings in the area of cloud, big data and security technologies, the development of new digital and hybrid learning offerings, as well as the design and implementation of comprehensive talent programs against skill shortages. We are constantly keeping an eye on high-end technological developments and are working closely with our strategic vendor partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, NetApp and VMware."

As in previous years, the success of the Fast Lane Group was recognized in 2017 with numerous global and regional awards. In 2017 these awards included Microsoft Learning Partner of the Year 2017, VMware EMEA Education Partner of the Year 2017 as well as TrainingIndustry.com’s list of Top 20 IT Training Companies 2017.
