New Data Center Training Courses at Fast Lane
8 February 2010 – The Cisco Learning Solutions Partner Fast Lane has added two new official Cisco training courses to its portfolio. These are !Designing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing (DCUCD) and !Implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing (DCUCI). The IT training specialist has yet again extended its range of courses focusing on data center. The new courses are intended primarily for system and network engineers.
The five-day DCUCD training course provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for designing scaleable Data Center Unified Computing solutions based on the latest Cisco technologies. The course looks in detail at aspects such as the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), Cisco Nexus Switches and Catalyst 6500 in Virtual Switching Systems (VSS). The course provides the ideal preparation for certification as a “Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design Specialist“. The training sessions cover issues such as performance characteristics, recommended analysis tools, and sizing and migration processes, as well as success criteria and ROI calculations. Practical learning exercises allow participants to become familiar with the UCS environment.
