New versions of the ICND1 and ICND2 Cisco training courses

Hamburg/Berlin, 08 April 2013 – Cisco has recently updated its Associate Level certification. For example, the Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 1 and Part 2 training courses (ICND1 and ICND2) have been revised in terms of content and the associated exams have been updated accordingly. The new versions of the courses are now available from Cisco Learning Specialized Partner Fast Lane.

The revised certification and training courses from Cisco comprehensively prepare network administrators for the management of the latest network solutions. The new versions of the Routing & Switching entry level courses focus in particular on technological innovations relating to Cisco routers and switches with Cisco IOS Version 15, IPv6 and IOS licensing. A good portion of the training is also allocated to troubleshooting scenarios.

CCNA becomes CCNA Routing & Switching

The previous CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification has now been updated and renamed “CCNA Routing & Switching“. Cisco recommends preparing for the following certification exams with the corresponding new training courses:

  • 100-101 ICND1: !Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 1 (ICND1) and
  • 200-101 ICND2: !Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 2 (ICND2)
    or
  • 200-120 CCNA: !Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices: Accelerated (CCNAX)
