Course Content
This four day course provides the IT professional with instructions on advanced Data Protector software functionality, with focus on how to back up and restore Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and SharePoint, based on the new Data Protector 9.00 release. The course explains the required steps to integrate these Microsoft Windows based applications, including the utilization of the underlying Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) framework, into Data Protector, and how to run backup and restores of these applications. In addition, the course covers the Granular Recovery Module that allows single item recovery of Exchange and SharePoint. The course offers hands-on labs on all integrations exercises to ensure a thorough understanding of the course contents.
