Infra - Configuration Management (INFCM)
Who should attend
This one day course is suitable for all CMDB Administrators, Software Librarians, Hardware Controllers and Service Desk Managers who want to learn how to implement an ITIL aligned CMDB using Infra.
Prerequisites
To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student must have
a suitable knowledge base/skill set. The student must have an understanding of Infra
functionality within their organization to successfully complete this course.

Course Objectives
Configuration Management is at the center of every Infra implementation. The
Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is the repository of all your key
infrastructure items, and as such, it is crucial that the CMDB structure be correctly defined.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Understand the principles of Configuration Management
- Build the CMDB
- Identify the different CMDB entities
- Create relationships between CMDB entities
- Track and control changes in the CMDB
- Search the CMDB
- Configure global settings, security roles and keywords for CMDB
