Course Objectives

EMC Ionix Application Discovery Manager (Smarts) training is offered as a 2 day installation, administration, operations, and basic fingerprinting course. It enables users to configure, administer, and troubleshoot the EMC Ionix Application Discovery Manager (ADM) solution and get started using EMC Ionix ADM within their environment.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Configure and troubleshoot the EMC Ionix ADM solution in their environment
  • View the information available in the EMC Ionix ADM console
  • Configure and perform a Passive discovery
  • Perform a Detail discovery and set Detail discovery policies
